A great big HURRAH to our hero of the month, Gracey, for her success in shedding a whopping 7lbs on the new Hills Metabolic Diet!

Schedule your pet's assessment with an ABC Vet Tech to determine if your dog should be on Hill's Metabolic Diet.

GracyGracey, the svelte looking model you see here has worked hard to lose excess, unhealthy weight on the new Hills Metabolic Diet.

Gracey is a 6 year old, happy cocker spaniel.  She has had surgery on both of her knees and her hips were diagnosed with moderate dysplasia so being overweight exacerbated all of these problems.  The heavier Gracey became, the more difficult it was to get up, and her daily walks were getting shorter and slower.  The less she moved, the more stiff and painful she became.

Gracey and her family needed help to get her weight down, hoping that she would perk up and enjoy her outings again.  The three of us, the ABC staff, Gracey and her family chose to use the Hills Metabolic Diet to accomplish this.

We started the program this April by taking specific measurements and calculating an accurate weight target, body fat index, and a customized feeding plan for Gracey. Gracey ate only the Metabolic Diet, with green beans for treats, and the weight started to come off!

The less Gracey weighed, the better she feels, the more she enjoys her walks.  Now, Gracey and her family enjoy their outings again since her enthusiasm is back for walks and playtime.  Since April, just 3 short months, Gracey has lost almost 7lbs, 15% of her body weight.  Not only does Gracey look great, but she is more energetic and her knees and hips are less painful.

Good Job Gracey and Family!

We have started two of our cats on the Metabolic Diet for the last two months. We have seen a noticeable difference in their activity and visual appearance, as well. We had them on the Hills Cat Food prior to the Metabolic Diet. We haven't weighed them, but by all appearances, they have lost weight and have seen a great increase in their acivity level. Would recommend this to anyone who has a cat with a weight problem!
